Biography
Jami K. Kamp, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a board certified family nurse practitioner with a wide variety of health care experience including acute care pediatrics, osteoporosis, interventional radiology and adult cardiology. She joined Goshen Heart & Vascular Center after beginning her nurse practitioner career in interventional radiology. As part of the cardiology team, Jami uses her advanced clinical assessment skills to diagnose and treat chronic and acute coronary and peripheral vascular disease. She evaluates patients’ needs and develops treatment plans for patients with chest pain, congestive heart failure, palpitations, high blood pressure, leg pain, arrhythmia and more.
Philosophy of Care
Jami not only looks at the illness or disease process, but she looks at how they affect the person and his or her individual circumstances, combining the holistic nursing model with the medical model.
