Biography

Kristina Jackowiak, is a certified physician assistant, specializing in emergency medicine. She is part of the urgent care team, providing care through the Goshen Physicians Family Medicine & Urgent Care. Kristina collaborates with doctors, nurses and other urgent care providers to best manage the health concerns that bring patients and their family members to the urgent care clinic.

Philosophy of Care

Kristina has a passion for helping people stay healthy, maintain their well-being and improve their quality of life. She believes the best patient care is done when providers and patients work together as a team. Her training and interests have led her to treating acute pathologies. Kristina strives to build rapport with her patients, whether she sees them in a single incident or over several visits. Biography

Dr. Salim Jaffer is a gastroenterologist with fellowship training in treating patients with stomach diseases and abdominal disorders. He has nearly three decades of clinical experience in a wide range of procedures, including colonoscopies, liver biopsies and endoscopies to examine the esophagus, stomach and duodenum small intestine.

For Dr. Jaffer, education and prevention are vital to every patient’s wellbeing. He encourages patients to understand the importance of screenings that can prevent diseases or detect abnormal growths in early stages when more treatment options are available.

Biography

Farid Jalinous is a board certified clinical and interventional cardiologist with Goshen Heart & Vascular Center. He diagnoses and treats patients with cardiovascular disease, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Dr. Jalinous performs noninvasive, invasive and interventional cardiovascular procedures to diagnose and treat heart disease.

A cardiologist for more than 20 years, Dr. Jalinous has extensive experience with advanced, minimally invasive techniques to treat heart conditions. He focuses on catheterization procedures to diagnose heart disease; insert stents and balloons; and resolve restricted blood flow quickly for heart attack patients.

Prior to joining Goshen Health in 2018, Dr. Jalinous served as a co-director of the catheterization lab for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and was the clinical director of the cardiac rehabilitation program.

Peers have rated Dr. Jalinous among the best in his specialty and in the community. The ratings have earned Dr. Jalinous the Regional Top Doctors award from Castle Connolly, a healthcare research company.

Dr. Rebecca Johnson meets the diverse health needs of adult patients at Goshen Physicians Family Medicine Ligonier. As a primary care provider, Dr. Johnson diagnoses, treats and manages a wide range of diseases, illnesses and conditions. She specializes in geriatrics with a focus on patients over the age of 50. She also has advanced training and experience with skin biopsies.
 
When Dr. Johnson is away from her medical practice, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Tiffany Johnson-Bussberg is a certified family nurse practitioner who provides care for patients of all ages. The Goshen Health and Wellness Center provides a wide variety of services to Goshen School Corporation employees and family members who participate in the school system health plan. There, Tiffany provides care for illnesses and minor injuries, health and wellness education, pharmacy services, laboratory services, health screenings and preventive care.

Tiffany believes in an integrated approach to wellness. She values shared decision-making with patients, working with the patients to develop an individualized plan of care. She appreciates building relationships with her patients.

Biography

Beth Jones is a board certified nurse practitioner at NeuroCare Center Goshen Physicians. She specializes in caring for patients with issues affecting the brain, such as dementia, migraines, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. She also provides stroke care and treats patients with seizures, tremor, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and neuropathy.
 
Beth began her career in nursing at Goshen Hospital in 1993. She held certifications as an oncology nurse and in biotherapy and chemotherapy until transferring to the NeuroCare Center. Her nursing experience also includes patient care as a medical-surgical nurse and training in intensive care.


 
A family history with strokes and migraines empowers Beth's passion and dedication to help patients manage neurological conditions. Her family is her other passion and she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two sons riding ATVs.

Personalized care and strong provider-patient relationships matter most to Beth. She meets each patient where they are in their health journey and walks with them though all phases of health challenges. Her focus is on providing medical care, support and education to help patients reach their goals and achieve the best quality of life possible.
