Dr. Keith Barkow is a board certified family medicine physician with Goshen Physicians. Dr. Barkow treats everyone from birth to elderly patients.He includes the full range of family practice encompassing all conditions, including obstetrics and sports medicine. He serves as Northridge High School’s team physician since 2000.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Barkow considers his patients’ care as if they were a member of his family. He asks himself, “If this were my father/mother, sister/brother, son/daughter, spouse, what would I do for them?” Then his treatment options are as carefully considered as if his patient were a family member. He believes patients have a critical role to play in taking care of their bodies and health. When they are willing to take responsibility for the choices they make, they can have a profound influence on their health. Dr. Barkow wants to educate, guide and advise patients on the power of their lifestyle choices that can improve their health and help them remain healthy.

Biography

Neha Batra is a board certified pediatrician with Goshen Physicians Pediatrics. She provides preventative and routine well-child care for children of all ages, including sports physicals and care coordination with specialists. In addition, she treats acute and chronic illnesses such as asthma, allergies and attention deficit syndromes.

Dr. Batra is a strong advocate of breastfeeding, as she believes this gives babies a healthy start in life. Her involvement with the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative ensures parents have the resources they need to make informed choices about how they feed and care for their babies.

Central to Dr. Batra’s approach to care is the importance of providing a medical home for families. She creates a patient-centered environment focused on healthy lifestyles and total wellness. By building long-term relationships with her young patients and their families, she is able to care for a child’s emotional and intellectual development.

Biography

Danae Bell is a family medicine nurse practitioner with Goshen Physicians OB/GYN. She provides preventive and acute care for women of all ages to help them maintain health and wellness. Danae encourages patients to actively participate in their health care and care for themselves as well as they do others.
 
Danae has extensive clinical experience in caring for women, newborns and families during labor and delivery at Goshen Hospital's Birthplace and as they transition to home. She also has comprehensive training in suture techniques and aspires to assist in surgical procedures.
 
The outdoors call Danae whenever she is away from the office. She enjoys tending to her garden and flower beds, as well as caring for a barn full of animals. Danae passes along her love of animals and community to her daughter through involvement with 4-H. She also appreciates time to bake, plan and cook healthy, flavorful meals for her family.

Biography

Daniel J. Berger is a board certified primary care physician at Goshen Physicians Family Medicine Bristol. Dr. Berger graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, attended residency at Oklahoma University, practiced 5 years in Oklahoma, and then returned to family and friends in northern Indiana.
 
He has demonstrated his commitment to bringing quality care and service to the community by taking on leadership roles through chairing several committees at Goshen Health before serving terms as president of the medical staff and Goshen Physicians. Dr. Berger also served as the medical physician for Bashor Children’s Home.

Dr. Berger believes that expert quality health care involves determining how all aspects of a patient’s life are impacting his or her health so that appropriate testing and treatment can then be provided and unnecessary treatment and testing avoided.

Biography

Dr. Jeffrey Bolduan is urologist with Goshen Physicians Urology. He treats patients of all ages with disorders of the urinary tract system and male reproductive organs. Among his areas of expertise are urologic prosthetics and vasectomy reversals. He also treats patients with bladder or prostate cancer, kidney stones, urinary tract infections and other disorders.
 
Away from his medical practice, Dr. Bolduan is an avid waterfowl hunter. He always takes a good book with him on vacation and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Biography

Dr. Charles Bower is a board certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Goshen Hospital. He specializes in providing diagnostic and interventional radiology services, primarily for patients with peripheral vascular disease, all types of cancer and end-stage renal disease. Dr. Bower performs a range of radiology services at Goshen Hospital, Elkhart General Hospital and Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Before joining Goshen, Dr. Bower practiced in Chicago at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, and served as faculty of the University of Illinois Radiology Residency program since 2001. 

Dedicated to education, Dr. Bower is a volunteer assistant professor of radiology at Indiana University School of Medicine and a clinical assistant professor of radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago. Dr. Bower was awarded Fellowship in the American College of Radiology in 2021, an honor reserved for 10 percent of the membership of the college.

Away from his medical practice, Dr. Bower combines interests in endurance sports, triathlon and scuba diving with his love of photography and videography. His enjoyment of music led to his serving on the board of organizations including the International Music Foundation that provides free concerts in downtown Chicago and another dedicated to the preservation of Philadelphia’s Wanamaker Organ.

Biography

Ingrid Bowser, MSN, ANP-BC, AOCNP, ACHPN, is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner for the Goshen Center for Cancer Care team. As a certified health care life coach, she plays a key role in developing survivorship and palliative care programs. In addition to fostering high quality care to all patients, Ingrid focuses on enhancing available care options through advanced research and education. She is an active writer and speaker who advocates supporting patients and caregivers as they navigate their way through the complex management of a cancer diagnosis.

Ingrid balances the intricacies of acute cancer care treatments with the palliative care required for her patients and their families. She is dedicated to supporting her patients and fellow caregivers as they make the journey through a cancer diagnosis. Ingrid believes that each patient's experience is unique as is the care that they require. She strives to help her patients focus on healing the body, mind and spirit.

Biography

Edward William Boyts, MD, is a board certified primary care physician who practices general medicine at Goshen Physicians Family Medicine New Paris. He is dedicated to improving the health of our community by providing expert medical care for people of all ages. He has provided care to families in New Paris since 1990. Dr. Boyts treats all members of families from newborns to the elderly, including all acute and chronic illnesses. He does many office surgeries and procedures. In addition to providing care at the New Paris family practice, Dr. Boyts has served as the physician advisor to the Goshen Hospital Physical Therapy Department since 1990. He is also a member of Goshen Hospital and the Goshen Health System Boards of Trustees.

Biography

Dr. Marlon Brathwaite is a board certified pediatrician at Goshen Physicians Pediatrics. He is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of children, from newborns and adolescents to teenagers and young adults. Dr. Brathwaite treats patients with a wide range of conditions, from mild childhood illnesses to serious chronic diseases.

Prior to joining the pediatric team, Dr. Brathwaite worked as a pediatric hospitalist and cared for children in all areas of the hospital, including the newborn nursery, emergency department and neonatal and pediatric intensive care. He now oversees inpatient pediatric services as the director of the pediatric initiative at Goshen Hospital.

Away from clinical practice, Dr. Brathwaite enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and two young children, along with staying active by running and playing tennis.

Dr. Brathwaite takes a team-led, patient-centered approach to health care. He focuses on building a partnership of trust with his young patients and their families. Biography

Eric Brown is a board certified family nurse practitioner with Goshen Physicians Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He provides treatment options for patients with degenerative joint conditions, such as arthritis. He also treats patients with injuries to bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments, including sprains, strains, fractures and dislocations.
 
Eric has extensive experience with pre- and post-operative care in surgical units, including at Goshen Hospital. He works closely with orthopedic surgical teams to manage care in the operating room and meet each patient’s specific needs before, during and after surgery.
 
Family time keeps Eric busy when he is away from work. As part of a voluntary mission trip, he helped establish a medical clinic in Ecuador that provides health screenings and education for residents in the rural community.

Eric’s goal is to treat each patient with compassion and respect. He enjoys getting to know patients and working with them to build a treatment plan that fits their preferences. Maria Brown is a registered dietitian with Goshen Center for Cancer Care. She provides nutritional care and education for patients with all types of cancer as part of the Integrative Care Team. Her nutrition plans focus on reduction of side effects and weight management to promote the best possible health outcomes during active treatment and recovery.
 
Maria focuses on a holistic approach to help patients manage their health and well-being from the start of cancer treatment through survivorship. She offers patients lifelong solutions and interventions that promote overall health and a genuine enjoyment of foods.
 
When Maria is away from the cancer center, she is spending time with her husband and daughters and enjoying the outdoors on a favorite running path or bike trail.
